Sometimes plans change, and we’re here to help make any adjustments to your booking as smooth as possible. This section addresses common questions about modifying or cancelling your cruise, handling errors in travel documents, and what to do if your cruise is cancelled by the cruise line. Changes to my Booking FAQs

What should I do if I need to cancel my cruise?

The lead name of the booking may cancel the travel arrangements at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be received at our offices by post or via email using the email address: cancellations@loveitbookit.com and will be effective from the date on which we receive it. If you are cancelling your booking after the final payment date, it is your responsibility to also call us on 0203 393 1003 (Option 2) to ensure this is processed on the day of your written submission.

How much will I lose if I cancel my holiday?

You can find details of our cancellation policy, including a table outlining the maximum cancellation charges, on our Terms and Conditions page. Please note, deposits are non-refundable, along with any change fees or admin fees. To discuss this further, please call our Customer Service Team on 0203 393 1003 (Option 2). If the reason for cancellation is covered under the terms of an insurance policy, you may be able to reclaim these charges from your insurance. The full amount of any amendment charge(s) is retained in the event of cancellation.

Rather than forfeiting my deposit, can I transfer my cruise to a different date or make a  name change?

If you’re eligible to transfer your cruise to an alternative date or voyage, we will talk you through this option in detail. Please read the Terms and Conditions, which you will have received with your booking confirmation documents, as these detail the options available to you. It may be possible to transfer your cruise to an alternative date or make a name change for an additional administrative fee, so please call us on 0203 393 1003 (Option 2) to discuss this in detail.

What should I do if there are spelling mistakes or errors on my travel documents?

It's important to carefully review your travel documents to ensure all details, including the 
spelling of your name, match your passport. If you spot any errors, please contact us immediately at 0203 393 1003 (Option 2) so we can assist in correcting them.

My cruise was cancelled by the cruise line, what happens next?

In the rare event that your cruise is cancelled by the cruise line, we will reach out to you with available options. Most customers opt to transfer to a similar sailing, and if that’s your preference, we’ll provide alternative options, including any differences in itinerary or dates. Once you’ve made your choice, we’ll transfer your booking to the new sailing or provide a refund, if preferred.

What should I do if I change my address?

If you change your address, please notify us as soon as possible, especially if you are expecting to receive your travel documents by post. You can update your details by contacting our Customer Service team at 0203 393 1003 (Option 2).
