Antigua & Barbuda Cruises

Explore the iconic 365 Beaches

Escape to the tropics and relax in the sunshine on a cruise to Antigua and Barbuda! This Caribbean jewel comprises two main namesake islands and several smaller islands. Whether it’s pristine white sands, pink seashells, palm trees in the wind, or warm clear sea, each and every one is a shore to fall in love with. Idyllically positioned where the Atlantic and Caribbean meet, these islands boast reef-lined beaches and a surprising diversity of landscape.

One thing that Antigua and Barbados are known for are the iconic 365 beaches, all with unspoiled white sand and surrounded by azure waters — one for each day all-year round! It’s easy to laze the day by the shores, but there’s plenty of leisure and entertainment to keep you occupied in between beach downtime. History buffs will enjoy a tour of the Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO-listed site that started out as a British naval base, now transformed into an impressive, restored backyard! For knowledge seekers, a visit to the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda offers a glimpse into the two-island nation’s history and culture. A trip to Antigua and Barbuda won’t be complete without sampling the rum – the island’s national drink! From sights to smell, there’s something to satisfy every sense on an Antigua and Barbados cruise…

Antigua & Barbuda Cruise Highlights

Nelson Dockyard

Once a repair harbour for damaged battleships, Nelson Dockyard is now home to incredible yachts and ocean liners, alongside an array of restaurants, shops, art galleries and more! This UNESCO World Heritage site is named after the renowned Admiral Horatio Nelson and served as a maritime hub for the British. Still fully operating, the dockyard has been restored and now features an awe-inspiring marina and Georgian architecture.

Devil’s Bridge

Devil’s Bridge is a natural arch in Antigua in the pitted limestone rock that’s been formed over millennia as the Atlantic waves constantly crash into the rocks. This natural wonder is steeped with local legends, as well as a tragic past. It’s believed that African slaves would throw themselves off the bridge into the rough waters below in a final effort to escape their enslavement, hence gaining its name ‘Devil’s Bridge.’ Despite its painful story and ominous name, the bridge is definitely a spectacular sight to see!

Shirley Heights Lookout

The breathtaking views from the summit of Shirley Heights Lookout make the hike rewarding and worthwhile! Marvel at the sprawling islands sightings from the old military fort and gun battery at the top of the observation area. Besides the postcard-perfect views, sunsets are particularly stunning from this vantage point. Sundays are made more special and fun by a local tradition, in which the smell of Caribbean barbecue and the sounds of live music fill the historic military compound.
