These tours typically last for 1.5 to 2 hours, except for the lighthouse tour that only takes half an hour to complete. How do I get to Ocean Cay?

Most MSC Cruises ships sailing a Bahamas or Western Caribbean itinerary are likely to include a trip to Ocean Cay Marine Reserve. You can take the cruise to the Caribbean and the Bahamas from Miami or Orlando (Port Canaveral) or to the Bahamas and Florida from New York City (Brooklyn) to visit this private island destination. 

One of the best things about Ocean Cay is that MSC ships dock directly at the quay, without the need to transfer guests using tender boats. From the pier, guests can easily walk or take the electric tram service to the island. 

Are there cabanas available for rent?

There are cabanas you can rent for an additional fee at Ocean Cay, offering a shaded place to lounge and recharge during your stay. Cabanas are available in the North Beach, South Beach, Bimini Beach and Ocean House Beach. Prices and inclusions vary per cabana type. 

Are food and drinks available at Ocean Cay?

Yes, a choice of dining and drinking venues are available at Ocean Cay. MSC’s private island has a complimentary Seakers Food Court, where you can enjoy a traditional barbecue buffet, serving Caribbean and American dishes, plus a selection of grab-and-go options. There are also five food trucks conveniently located throughout the island – four of which are complimentary – which offer beach favourites like hotdogs and lobster rolls.
