Discover the Land of the Blessed

Known for its natural beauty, St. Vincent and the Grenadines is a southern Caribbean country, consisting of the main island, St. Vincent and a string of smaller, emerald volcanic isles. This Caribbean gem is an excellent sailing destination, hosting a plethora of white-sand shores, sparkling bays and cacti-filled cays, where yachts and sailboats bob on the scenic harbours. What are you waiting for? Turn your tropical dreams into reality and experience the quintessential Caribbean spirit on a cruise to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines!

The main island is home to Kingstown — the colourful capital of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, famous for the Botanical Gardens with a thriving flora and fauna, punctuated by cobblestoned streets and a busy harbour. Bequia is one of the most famous shore excursion destinations for cruisers, boasting a mix of lush greenery and sky-blue seas. In the southern Grenadines lies Tobago Cays — an archipelago, comprising uninhabited isles, where you can find one of the premier diving spots in the island. For a dose of peace and tranquillity, set sail for the remote islands of Canouan or Mustique, both oozing a laid-back charm, or anchor up in Mayreau, home to the world-famous Salt Whistle Bay.

Saint Vincent & Grenadines Cruise Highlights

Bequia

Bequia is a prized dot in the archipelago nation with its name translating to “island of the clouds" in the ancient Arawak given by its first settlers. Sailors and yachters flock to Port Elizabeth, a quaint seaside town set on the centre of the island with a scenic walkway  dotted with vibrant markets and dining venues. Hit the beaches whilst here, such as  the Lower Bay and Princess Margaret Beach. When you’re not soaking up some sun or shopping, drop by the Bequia Maritime Museum to learn a bit about the island’s history.

St. Vincent Botanical Gardens

Green thumbs will be delighted to stroll around the St. Vincent Botanical Gardens, a lush 20-acre park dating back to 1765, making it the oldest gardens in the West Indies. Wandering through the garden, you’ll stumble upon indigenous and exotic tropical plants and greenery, from robust mahogany trees to homegrown breadfruit trees. Spot the cinnamon and nutmeg hanging from the age-old tree branches too. Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the endemic parrots humming in the little aviary on the grounds.a

Fort Charlotte

Overlooking the harbour of Kingstown, on a rugged bluff nearly 200 metres above sea level, Fort Charlotte offers a brief insight into the island nation’s long colonial history and awe-inspiring views of the capital to boot. Built in the early 1800s to protect the area from attacks, the fort once housed military barracks and artilleries, and today, you’ll  find small gun batteries on the grounds, stone walls and the ruins of the barracks. The steep trek up the hill takes about 40 minutes, but a bus ride is also available if you don’t want to break a major sweat.
