South Africa

Travellers often set sail in Cape Town, a quaint capital that rests in the shadow of the Table Mountain, caught between the Table Bay and the Cape Flats. Perched on the other side of South Africa is Durban, a charming coastal city that hosted the 2010 World Cup overlooking the stunning Valley of a Thousand Hills and the Drakensberg mountain range. Somewhere in the middle of these two picturesque cities lies the Port of Elizabeth, a principal seaport known for its gorgeous beaches and vibrant surfing scene. This port city allows voyagers to spot rare seabirds and whales, as well as lions, leopards, rhinoceros, Cape buffalo, and elephants – both while on board or on dock.

Wildlife viewing is exceptional in this captivating region where hippos and penguins wander around wild and free. Discover the safari and marine animals at Port Elizabeth, drop by the Moses Mabhida Stadium and the 1000-hilled valley in Durban, and let the adventure lead you to explore everything that Cape Town has to offer, all on your next South African cruise.

Honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy and in Robben Island

Robben Island was used as a prison until 1996 for the incarceration of the anti-Apartheid activist and  former South African president Nelson Mandela.
